My R/C Cars
Brandon's 4 tec and my TL-O1 lightning
The red and white car on the left is my friend Brandon's Traxxas 4-tec. From what I remember it is mostly stock I think it has a Trinity Midnight motor, but that's about it, it's pretty fast too it keeps up with my TL-01 pretty well. Brandon also has a gas powered rustler which is scary fast!!! And an electric rustler that is similar to mine but is not as fast and has the original body instead of a Blazer.

Car # 1
Tamiya TL-01 (4WD)

TL-01 lightning

Body: Ford lightning SVT, light metallic red (in sunlight it looks pink. True, but not intended.)

motor: Trinity D2 (13 turn double)

controller: Futaba magnum Jr.

Other mods: adjustable front tie rods, full set of ball bearings (wheels, and transmission), Pro-line Speed Hawgs tires, Lowered 1/4" (for better handling), Tekin Formula 10 Electronic Speed Control (ESC), gold plated connectors on low resistance wires.

Top speed: ~25-35mph (if I get a higher tooth pinion gear the speed will be a little higher, but trust me it feels very fast.)

Car # 2
Traxxas Rustler (RWD)

off road rustler Blazer body (money pit)

Body: 1997 Chevy Blazer, metallic purple (fades from light to dark purple from the bottom up.)

motor: Same motor as above car

controller: Traxxas TQ

other mods: Pro-line 5 spoke wheels, Dirt Hawgs (off-road) and Speed Hawgs (on-road), Novak Reactor ESC, slipper clutch, lightened chassis, internal antenna, custom made aluminum body mounting posts (thanks dad.), custom made wheelie bar (made by me, It needs it!), same gold plated connectors as above car, and a full set of ball bearings.

Top speed: ~15-20mph off road setup (lower gears, big tires), ~20-25mph on road setup (high gears, smaller tires) I have gotten it to go faster using on road gearing with tall off road tires however it tends to overheat badly so I don't do that anymore.

Best Wheelie: ~ 50 ft. with the wheelie bar on, without the wheelie bar it will ride a little one but giving it enough power to keep ridding one usually results in it completely flipping backwards (now you know why I made the wheelie bar :-) )
